Aeroponics Systems: Efficient & Sustainable

The Future of Indoor Gardening

At Nova Aeroponics, we manufacture innovative, customized aeroponic grow boxes for indoor cultivation.  Aeroponic growing gives cultivators the ability to increase quality and output while reducing input costs and waste, allowing them to remain competitive in an increasingly crowded industry.

Aeroponics is a highly efficient and advanced form of hydroponic cultivation where plant roots are suspended in air while being fed directly with a nutrient solution. This environment, with full oxygen saturation in the root zone, is ideal for efficient nutrient uptake, robust root development, rapid vegetative growth, and better overall plant health. All traditional media is eliminated, giving growers the ability to customize nutritional input and ensure that plants receive the optimal amount of resources required for healthy, explosive growth.

By removing media, water consumption is reduced by up to 98%, fertilizer usage by 60%, and pesticide & herbicide usage by 100%, while eliminating the risk of media borne pests and increasing yield by 45-75%.

Labor requirements decrease as media and drip lines no longer need to be handled, maintained, and disposed of, resulting in minimal waste sent to local landfills.

Flushing operations are quick and efficient as there is no nutrient build up at the root ball, leaving only pure fruit or flower with no residual nutrients.

Delivering nutrients directly to the plants’ roots allows for optimal uptake as plants take advantage of a fully oxygenated environment.  Without media influence, cultivators have the ability to finely control the root zone and tailor their nutrient regimen according to the immediate demands of the plant. This also allows for increased plant densities as there is no competition for resources.

The Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) world refers to aeroponics as “the future of indoor growing” because aeroponics offers higher yields, massive reductions in water, nutrient, and labor requirements, high levels of grower control, and increased quality when compared to other growing methods.

Nova Aeroponics Grow Boxes

Customized Aeroponics Systems

We build our grow boxes from a highly specialized thermoplastic that creates the perfect environment for plants to thrive in a controlled environment. The material reflects all light back to the plants and eliminates light penetration to the root zone. No ultra-violet rays means cool root zone temperatures and the prevention of algae growth. As a result, root structures are healthy and remain free of harmful pests and pathogens, while promoting faster and easier post-harvest cleanouts.

Additionally, grow boxes can be set up with a dedicated pump and reservoir or multiple boxes can be set run from a single pump and water reservoir to help create an efficient and sustainable aeroponic system that best fits your specific grow.

Nova Aeroponics grow boxes allow modern cultivators to compete and differentiate their brand in a maturing marketplace. We can help you design and build out a new grow or help transition your existing facility to aeroponic grow box system.

Aeroponics & Outer Space:
NASA Takes Aeroponics to New Heights

Aeroponics was greatly advanced by NASA in the 1990’s for growing food on the International Space Station. Today, the method is increasingly common for efficiently growing vegetables in both urban and desert environments. Cannabis cultivators have long used aeroponics in the clone stage, and now the technique has become accepted for growing at scale during all stages of growth. The high levels of grower control and massive reductions in water consumption make aeroponics extremely favorable for modern cultivators.
